DPDP Act & NMC Compliance
Built for Indian healthcare providers with strict adherence to the DPDP Act 2023, EHR Standards, and NMC Guidelines.
Data Localization
All database records are securely hosted in a Supabase database located in the AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region, ensuring data remains within Indian borders.
Zero-Retention AI
Audio streams are processed in real-time in memory and discarded instantly. Audio is never stored or used to train AI models.
Dual-Layer Encryption
Patient data is protected by AWS AES-256 encryption at rest, plus an added layer of Zero-Knowledge Application-Level Encryption for clinical notes.
EHR & NMC Alignment
Supports 3-year data archiving protocols to protect doctors from medico-legal cases as per NMC Guidelines.
Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023
Eldovian Simplify equips clinics with the technical safeguards required under the DPDP Act. Our platform supports Data Fiduciaries (Doctors/Clinics) in upholding Data Principal (Patient) rights, including the Right to Erasure, while navigating the superseding medical retention laws.
How We Handle Speech Data
We use advanced Speech-to-Text WebSocket streams to transcribe consultations. No audio files are ever saved to a hard drive. The audio stream is processed in-memory in real-time and discarded the exact millisecond the connection closes. Furthermore, our AI partners are strictly prohibited from using your clinical transcripts or audio streams to train their foundational models.
NMC Guidelines & Archiving
The National Medical Commission (NMC) requires medical records to be maintained for 3 years. Even if a patient exercises their right to be forgotten under the DPDP Act, NMC guidelines supersede this request to protect practitioners against medico-legal disputes. Eldovian Simplify provides soft-deletion and secure archiving to ensure you remain compliant with both laws simultaneously.
